As we approach the 2021 legislative session, OWC wants to ensure that the wine industry is coordinating our advocacy approach on bills and issues that will impact the entire industry. To do that, the Oregon Wine Council (OWC) will host monthly wine industry lobby coordination meetings on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 11am, beginning January 26th, where we will invite regional association groups, lobbyists representing individual wineries, and other industry advocates to come together to coordinate our advocacy approach. These meetings will provide an opportunity for wine industry lobby teams to coordinate on specific bills and strategies, engage in vote counting assignments and other specific lobby items. These monthly advocacy calls will be open to any industry members who want to listen, but their main purpose will be for industry lobbyists to coordinate.
